Dr Todd Hitchcock has been offered an excellent opportunity and has announced his resignation from Eastern Shelby. Todd has been very successful for the district and has left it in great shape for the next person. Eastern Shelby is unique in that it has two campuses, Morristown and Waldron, both offer programming from Pre-K through 12th grade.  The district provides a full range of services for students with all types of individualized learning needs. Teachers are dedicated to using the most up-to-date instructional practices and continually seek new ways to engage students in the learning process.

Our blended learning environment allows students to utilize the latest technology while also developing collaborative relationships with their peers and our faculty. Both of our high schools offer a wide variety of advanced coursework and dual credit learning opportunities.  In addition, our partnership with Blue River Career Programs affords our students the opportunity to explore careers in more than a dozen skilled trades and vocational fields.

Todd is looking to move to his new position as soon as possible. He will continue to work with the district as long as needed until a new superintendent is hired. This results in an opportunity to begin this position in possibly November or December.
