Wawasee Community School Corporation is located in Syracuse, IN, near beautiful Lake Wawasee. Syracuse is just SE of South Bend and NW of Fort Wayne. It is just a short distance
north of Warsaw. The corporation has 2,759 students in grades PK, K-12, with a student-teacher ratio of 15 to 1.

Wawasee has three elementary schools that feed into one middle school and one high school. This would be perfect for an energetic candidate! The board is dedicated to supporting a new leader. Ideally, the district would like to find a new superintendent by May 1, but is flexible. The new superintendent is going to have a terrific opportunity to build trust and set the tone for a strong future.
